About me!

Hi there! My name is Ashley Jackson and I'm an illustrator and storyteller, based in the Southwest of England. 

From a young age I've been fascinated with storytelling and fictional worlds. And that fascination has helped me develop my creative practice into what it is today. I produce work that focuses on telling narratives within imagined landscapes and worlds, I do this by creating comics, zines and illustrations. I work with these themes as they are the types of media I consume.

My practice includes a mix of analogue and digital techniques, such as lino printing, clay, animation, digital painting. When starting a project I tend to produce lots of thumbnails and sketches in order to shape my ideas into reality. 

The work I make is mainly aimed at those in their late teens and university years. My focus is on those who enjoy fantasy and fictional narratives as these are my main points of interest.
